Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu
Mr.Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu after completing his B.Tech, started a small scale manufacturing unit for corrugated boxed in Guntur, under the Technocrats Scheme of Govt of A.P in the year 1997.

Since then he has never looked back and successfully established 16 Small and Medium Enterprises in Guntur with a sales turnovers to the tune of Rs.400 crores. This Group of Industries is now popularly known as "Tulasi Group ". Tulasi Prabhu received 5 National awards between 2003 and 2013 through the hands of "The Presidents of India" for best Management practices, best quality products and Research & Development in Seed technologies. He also received many awards from different personnel who chaired the Chief Minister's post of Andhra Pradesh with time, most noted of them is the award for "Corporate Social Responsibility" by FAPCCI awarded by Sri. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, C.M, Andhra Pradesh.

The global economics have brought a rapid change in the usage of technology and information and have opened opportunities for new challenges in agriculture. Mr. Tulasi Ramachandra Prabhu the chairman of Tulasi Group started with one corrugated boxes company in 1977. Over the years, the group has grown big and now consists of 12 entities among which Tulasi Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is the flagship company. Mr. Prabhu is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, one of the most reputed institutes globally.
Considering the importance of agriculture in India, Mr. Prabhu established Tulasi Seeds Pvt. Ltd. in 1992. Since then the company has been focusing on research in cotton hybrid seeds and today TSPL stands among the top four cotton seed companies in India. With the ability to build up its capacity to innovate and adapt to the new challenges, TSPL has been able to cater to the growing demand of the Indian farming community.
